Gina has worked in the Health and Fitness field for more than 25 years, and is the Owner and Director of Healing Power Yoga. A yoga studio dedicated to the education and support of the practice of yoga.
From 1987 - 1994, Gina implemented Wellness and Fitness programs for Canyon Ranch Spa, in Tucson, Arizona. One of the nation's foremost and innovative health resorts.
In 1994, Gina moved to Chicago, where, based on a wellness model, she developed a full spectrum of health and healing resources, and began her own personal training business - Awareness in Motion (AIM). Her experience and knowledge, brought Gina to implement classes and programs at
Zen Fitness, Chicago, IL. -
In 1999, Gina moved to Highland Park. As a new Mom, she started to practice at HPY and eventually went to work for Pam Udell, Founder of Healing Power Yoga. In 2007, when her son, Parris was 7 years old, Gina added a new hat to wear, as owner and Director of Healing Power Yoga.
She continues to dialogue on the benefits of yoga for adults as well as children, and its importance to health and fulfillment of ones own potential. Remembering to act from a place of kindness polishes the mirror of my own heart and offers a space where others may awaken their own internal kindness. From that place, we each can experience the fruits of transformation, self-acceptance and peace.
Gina has been practicing and studying the art, science, and philosophy of yoga since 1987, and a teaching yogi for 4 years.
